Leaves:  Elliptical, opposite on very short stalks.  Prominent mid-vein.
Flowers:  Pink buds opening to dainty white tubular flowers.
Flowering Time:  Spring.
Fruit:  A capsule.
Habitat/distribution:  Endemic to northern Tasmania.  Threatened by changing land use.
Where to See:   Creek verges of northern Tasmania.
Other notes:   Hardy garden specimen.  Requires constant moisture and some sun.  A good ground cover and cascading plant.
