 Size:  6-8m (H) x 2-3m (W)
 Leaves:  Lanceolate, 2-6cm long, green upper surface with a lighter green undersurface.
 Flowers:  Small yellow, bell shaped with purple-rimmed petals, prominently recurved.
 Flowering Time:  Spring.
 Fruit:  Woody capsule containing about 20 sticky orange/red seeds in neat rows.
 Habitat/distribution:  Moist well-drained sites.  Also Vic and NSW.
 Where to See:   Widespread in wet sclerophyll forests to 1000m.
 Other notes:   Hardy garden specimen.  Useful as an ornamental because it is a well-shaped tree with scented flowers.
