 Flowers: Small, cream, grouped in leaf axils. Male and female flowers on separate plants.

 Fruit: A five-chambered capsule
Habitat/distribution: Listed as rare in Tasmania. Found along edges of Pipers River, Carolina Creek, N. Esk River and Rubicon River
 Other notes: Attractive shrub or small tree for moist, well drained soils in full sun or part shade. Propagate from seed or tip cuttings
